2010 SUMMIT FUTURE LACROSSE CLUB INFORMATION

Summit High School head coach, Jim Davidson is pleased to once again participate in the Summit Future Lacrosse Club for the summer of 2010. The Summit Future Lacrosse Club is a charter member of The STEPS Lacrosse Boys Travel Association along with other clubs including: Chatham Future, Madison Future and Mendham Future.
Mission: To provide a professionally managed, coached, and organized travel lacrosse experience.
Goal: To develop the dedicated athlete to take his game to the next level in preparation for high school and college lacrosse.
Coaching Staffs:
The coaching staff of each of the member clubs will be comprised of high school head
coaches, assistant coaches, current program alumni and professional youth lacrosse coaches.
Summer 2010 Calendar:
Week 1, June 6-12: 2 – 2 hour practices.
Week 2, June 13-19: 1-2 Practices and/or 1 summer league game
Tournament: June 19,20 Lehigh Lax Fest, Lehigh University (1 day per grade)
Week 3, June 20-26: 1-2 Practices and/or 1 summer league game
Tournament: June 26, 27 Future Legends Lax (1 day per grade)
Week 4, June 27- July 3 1-2 Practices and/or 1 summer league game
Week 5, July 4 - 10: 1-2 Practices and/or 1 summer league game
Tournament: July 10,11 Sweetlaxin’ (2 days per grade)
Week 6, July 12-18: ALL-STAR WEEK and final summer league games
***All-Star teams at each grade level will be chosen to enter a fourth tournament to represent the STEPS Lacrosse Travel Association. Tournament: TBD
All practices will be held at the local facilities of the Summit Future Lacrosse Club. Final practice and summer league game schedules will be determined by the individual club directors and posted on the association website.
Price:
$595 (on average about $300 less than other summer travel teams)
Price includes:
• Uniform: (reversible jersey, game shorts, T-shirt)
• 6-8 practices
• 4-5 Summer league games (if the local teams choose to enter, otherwise practices)
• Entry Fees to 3 nationally recognized local tournaments
• Each team has a dedicated head coach and assistant coach
Payment Schedule:
$55 Deposit due by December 15th.
$275 Payment due by March 15th
$275 Final Balance due by May 15th
All payments will be made by credit / debit card.
